Early Registration ends close of business Thursday, February 7th, 2008. On-site registration is available pending space availability.

  • The dates for the Train the Trainer are February 11th, 12th and 13th. The items covered each day are listed below. For a full agenda please click here.
  • Day One, the basics of training:
    • Roles and Responsibilities of Trainers
    • Coordination Adult Learning… what you don’t know can hurt you as a trainer!
    • Style and Skill
    • Facilitation
    • Presentation
    • Lesson Development and Design
    • Closing and Evaluation
  • Day Two, Training by Subject Matter Experts in the areas of:
    • Family Dynamics
    • Legal (State and Federal Laws)
    • Stalking
    • Crisis Intervention/Client Relationships
    • Treatment
    • Law Enforcement
    • Health Care
    • Diversity
    • Technology Safety
    • Interfaith Leaders
  • Day Three:
    • On day three participants will be able to put the skills they learned to practical use.
    • Many trainers will be available this day for one-on-one instruction.
    • Day three will be a half day and will not be mandatory.

Cost

  • The cost of the Train the Trainer is $100.00; this covers meals and materials. There are both full and partial scholarships available- please call the UDVC at (801) 521-5544 for more information. Invoice
