How to Register

To register for one of the Live basic trainings:

  • Please click on the location dates of the training you would like to attend in the table below; you will be directed to the registration page for that specific training.
  • The registration for each training closes at noon one week prior to the day the training starts.
  • Please only register once.
  • Once you register for one of the UDVC’s live training's you will receive an agenda, map, payment invoice and other important information about the training.
  • Please be prepared to print your registration confirmation page or to save it in your favorites folder as this page will have all of the specific information for the training you have registered for, including a map, agenda and invoice.
  • Fees: The cost for the Live Basic Domestic Violence Training is $70.00, ($35 for UDVC members) with an exception for DCFS employees who will not be charged unless they fail to show or cancel ahead of time for the training. Payments will not be refunded for individuals who do not cancel their registration one week prior to the training, and/or who fail to attend the training.
  • At this time the UDVC can accept payment by cash or check: we cannot currently accept credit card payments. Payment instructions will be sent with the registration confirmation, agenda and map.

Registration for each scheduled training will be closed at noon one week prior the training start date.

  • If you are registered for the training and you cannot attend please cancel no later than one week before the training start date or you will still be charged the registration fee (even if you do not attend). Payments will not be refunded for individuals who do not cancel their registration one week prior to the training, and/or who fail to attend the training.

 

 

Lunch will not be provided during the training. We strongly suggest that all participants plan ahead of time by bringing a sack lunch. While you can leave the premises for lunch, we do not encourage you to do so due to the amount of time it takes and the limited time we have to present the training. It is also part of our goal to bring local providers closer together and provide a place for networking and problem solving in your local area; lunch is the perfect time for people to do just that!

 

Training Dates

The training dates below have been approved; however if a minimum of 15 attendees are not registered two weeks prior to the training, it will be canceled. If one of the training's does not have a link to a registration page it is because the exact location has not yet been decided. Please call our office or check back with this webpage at a later date.
